Quick Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast

    10g butter 
    1 tablespoon SKIPPY® Smooth Peanut Butter 
    1 tablespoon strawberry jam 
    1 slice wholemeal bread 
    1 large egg 
    4 tablespoons skimmed milk 
    2 tablespoons pure maple syrup 

  • Instruction

    1. In a 500-ml microwaveable glass bowl, microwave the butter on FULL (100%) for 10 seconds or until melted. Tilt the bowl to coat the sides.
    2. Spread the peanut butter and jam evenly on the bread. Fold the bread in half and cut diagonally.
    3. Crack the egg into the mixture in the glass bowl; add the milk. Beat lightly with a fork. Press in the bread; let it stand, turning once, for 1 minute or until both sides are soaked.
    4. Cover the microwaveable glass bowl. Microwave on FULL (100%) for 2 minutes or until puffed and the egg is thoroughly cooked. Let it stand for 2 minutes. Turn onto a serving plate; drizzle with syrup.
