Peanut Butter Toffee Bars

  • Ingredients

    255g SKIPPY® Super Crunch Peanut Butter
    110g butter 
    165g light brown sugar 
    100g caster sugar 
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
    2 large eggs
    250g plain flour 
    1/2 teaspoon salt 
    340g chocolate chips 
    240g toffee, broken into chips
  • Instruction

    1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease a 32.5-cm x 23-cm tray bake tin.
    2. In large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, caster sugar and vanilla for 5 minutes or until thick and creamy. Beat in the eggs, flour and salt. Stir in 225g chocolate chips. Pour evenly into the tin.
    3. Bake the bars for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack; immediately sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips. Let stand for 5 minutes. Evenly spread the melted chocolate; sprinkle with toffee chips. Cool completely. Cut into bars to serve.
