Bacon Peanut Butter Burger

  • Ingredients

    455g (1lb) ground beef
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    115g mature cheddar cheese, sliced
    135g SKIPPY® Smooth Peanut Butter
    340g maple-cured bacon
    4 wholemeal burger buns, split and toasted
  • Instruction

    Prepare the barbecue to a medium-high heat.
    In a large bowl, combine the beef, salt and pepper; mix gently. Form the beef into 4 burgers; barbecue until cooked to the desired point. Top each burger with 2 slices of cheese, if desired.
    In a microwaveable bowl, microwave the peanut butter for 30 seconds.
    Place the burgers on the bottom halves of the buns. Generously spread warm peanut butter on each. Top with 2 to 4 slices of bacon; cover with the top halves of the buns.

    This recipe serves 4.
