Open-Face Oriental Turkey Burgers

  • Ingredients

    455g (1lb) ground turkey
    345g shredded broccoli
    1 tablespoon SKIPPY® Super Crunch Peanut Butter
    1/8 teaspoon chilli powder
    6 (1/4-inch/6mm thick) slices tomato
    6 leaves iceberg lettuce
    1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, if desired
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    3 wholemeal English muffins, split and toasted
  • Instruction

    In a medium bowl, combine the turkey, shredded broccoli, peanut butter and chilli; mix gently. Shape into 6 burgers.

    Coat a 30-cm non-stick frying pan with oil spray; add the burgers. Cook over a medium heat, turning once, for 10 minutes or until done.

    Layer the tomato, lettuce and burgers on the bottom halves of the muffins. Cover with the top halves of the muffins.

    This recipe serves 6.
